Hearo Hearing Hub is about advocacy and that includes education. Understanding things well gives us the power to make better decisions as consumers and professionals.
Dr. Markus Hilbert, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology and Founder of Hearo has been certified nationally across Canada by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) for a 3 credit-per-hour Self-Learning activity for up to 3 Mainpro+ certified credits. It has 4 modules that can be taken together or individually with a total cost of $160 per attendee or $40 per session. These can be scheduled in-person; live online, or via online self-study options will be made available in 2025.
THERE IS ONLY ONE CFPC APPROVED MAINPRO+ AUDIOLOGY PROGRAM IN CANADA FOR ALL PHYSICIANS. DR. MARKUS HILBERT, AU.D. IS THE SPEAKER AND PRESENTER OF THIS PROGRAM WHICH WILL BE AVAILABLE IN DIFFERENT DELIVERY FORMATS.
CERT+/MAINPRO+
The College of Family Physicians of Canada regulates continuing education credit for Canadian Physicians via the current CERT+ program that will be revamped into the MAINPRO+ program by the end of 2024. Hearo has developed several curriculums about topics in hearing care that are relevant to physician patient care, referral and triage and has gone through the rigorous application process with the CFPC to ensure quality content without bias with the contribution of three members.
